The men of the Gamma Nu chapter of the Kappa Alpha Order would like to welcome you to our new website. Kappa Alpha Order was founded in Lexington, VA, and has been a strong and promising order of Christian knights since 1865. The Gamma Nu chapter has been making a great impact on the campus of ULM since 1956. Although we have faced some obstacles in the past, we are the longest standing fraternity at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and plan on continuing to make a measurable difference for many years to come.
The philosophy of our fraternity is that the acquisition of knowledge and the development of character are the great goals of life. Our primary values include gentility and chivalry, respect for the lady and pure womanhood, honor, integrity, and reverence to God.
The Gamma Nu chapter has a reputation for its gentleman conduct, strong scholastics, athletic intramural teams, exciting social events, and strong brotherhood. We pride ourselves on having one of the strongest national organizations amongst all fraternities, and for having such a large, strong, and dedicated core of alumni. We are very involved in the community and have always taken part and finished strong in all ULM events.
We are always looking for promising new members and encourage those who are interested to contact one of the Rush Chairs at their own convenience.
Please enjoy our new website and feel free to explore it at your own will.
